Pirate tennis loss vs. Clyde

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School girls tennis team lost 3-1 to visiting Clyde in the penultimate home dual match of the season on Thursday, September 25.
The match was shortened due to lightning delays and impending darkness which stopped the in-progress second doubles match featuring the Pirate duo of Peighton Bowers and Leah Hoffman.
Bluffton fell to 5-11 after the defeat.
Ari Bowling posted the lone Pirate win at second singles. She triumphed in a second-set tiebreaker.
The Pirates host Bryan in the final home match of the season on Saturday.
Bluffton visits Kenton (2-11, 0-8 WBL) on Monday, Sept. 29. The sectionals are October 2/4 at UNOH in Lima.
