Arlington receives OWDA financing for new water tower
OWDA MEDIA RELEASE__The Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) awarded $10.9 million through low interest loans to Ohio communities to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make water quality improvements for Ohioans.
The Village of Arlington in Hancock County is receiving $702,450.00 at 4.27% for 20 years for the construction of a 150,000 gallon water tower to replace a water tower that has exceeded its useful life. The funding comes from OWDA’s Fresh Water Loan Fund Program.
For the month of September 2025, the Authority funded six projects that will provide improvements and replace aging infrastructure. The six awarded projects received an interest rate ranging from 4.27% to 4.88%.
