AEP electricity outages on October 28-29
UPDATE 4:22 P.M. FROM AEP: The wind was causing some issues with overhead lines and crews have been assessing the area since yesterday. Today, they found the issue that caused the flickering lights for customers and made the necessary repairs to get the power back on. We understand that there is never a convenient time to experience power quality issues but know that our field personnel worked as quickly as they safely could to make repairs.
UPDATE 1:30 p.m. on October 29, the AEP website showed 863 customers affected. AEP estimates power restoration to all customers in the area by 4:30 p.m. 10/29
UPDATE 5:30 p.m. on October 28, the AEP website showed 11-100 outages in Bluffton, located east of Main St.
Some Bluffton residents have experienced multiple brief power outages on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 28.
AEP Ohio responded to an inquiry: "We estimate power restoration to all customers in your area by 6:30 PM 10/28. We'll update if the time changes. http://aepohio.com/outagemap/
