David Lee Wagner was a diesel mechanic and farmer
David Lee Wagner, 71, passed away November 16, 2025 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. David was born May 24, 1954 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Carl and Mary Ruth (Gudakunst) Wagner. On October 1, 1988, he married Susan Faze Wagner who preceded him in death on June 4, 2021.
David graduated from Ada High School. He retired from Findlay Truck Line where he was a diesel mechanic and was also a life-long farmer. David was a member of the Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton where he was an active member serving as a deacon and sound system operator.
Survivors include his siblings, Tom (Cynthia) Wagner, Cindy Parkins and Karla (Dennis) Burkholder all of Bluffton and fourteen nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Ruth Wagner and his wife Susan Wagner.
David's service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton. Pastor David Lanquist officiating. Burial will be in Hasson Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton and Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor Place - Activity Department or Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
