Duane Keith Farmer was a tool and die maker
Duane Keith Farmer, 68, of Seymour, Indiana and formerly of Pandora, Ohio, passed away December 14, 2025, in North Vernon, Indiana. Duane was born April 21, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Albert and Katie (Germanovich) Farmer.
Duane was a tool and die maker for many years before becoming a landlord and property manager. He was a member of the Kentucky Colonels. Duane enjoyed martial arts and held a black belt in Taekwondo. He also enjoyed traveling and watching sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and the Michigan Wolverines.
Survivors include four children, Jay (Melissa) Farmer of Springboro, Pennsylvania, Kevin (Kristyn) Farmer of Wellington, Florida, Scott (Anne) Peterson of Clarksville, Tennessee, Amanda Farmer of Batavia, Ohio and seven grandchildren.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Katie Farmer.
Duane’s service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
