Aubrey Burkholder named BHS Student of the Month for December 2025
MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton High School is proud to recognize senior Aubrey Burkholder as the December 2025 Student of the Month. Aubrey is the daughter of Chad and Anna Burkholder of Bluffton.
Aubrey has excelled academically in her time at Bluffton, earning a 3.970 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a standout athlete throughout her high school career.
She is a four-year varsity soccer letter recipient, serving as team captain for two years and earning First Team All-Conference honors twice. She also received three years of Northwest Conference honors, three years of All-District honors, and one year of All-Ohio honors, while being recognized as a four-year NWC Scholar Athlete. In addition, Aubrey competes in the indoor track club and is a four-year varsity track participant. She was a three-year qualifier for regionals in track and earned a state qualification in the 300-meter hurdles.
Beyond athletics, Aubrey is active in the arts, participating in marching band, concert band, show choir and drama club. She was also honored as Bluffton High School’s 2026 Homecoming Queen and represented her school through participation in Buckeye Girls State, a program aimed at teaching youth about government processes while encouraging characteristics of good citizenship.
Her involvement extends into the local community as well. Aubrey participates in Youth for Christ, is a member of Lima First Church and is active in the St. John Bible Church youth group. During the week, she volunteers as a student kitchen aide within the Bluffton School District.
In her free time, Aubrey enjoys painting, reading the Bible and spending time with friends and family. Following graduation, Aubrey plans to attend Evangel University in Springfield, MO, where she intends to double major in Education and Biblical Studies.
Bluffton High School congratulates Aubrey Burkholder on being named the December Student of the Month, and wishes her continued success in her academic, athletic, and personal pursuits.
