January 27 grand opening of fitness center at Maple Crest
MEDIA RELEASE__Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) will host a grand opening for its new fitness center located inside Maple Crest Senior Living Village, 700 Maple Crest Court, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on January 27 at 3:00 p.m.
The grand opening event will include brief remarks, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the Wellness Center, and light refreshments and snacks. Community members, residents, families, partners and local leaders are invited to attend and celebrate this milestone with MHCO.
The new fitness center represents MHCO’s continued commitment to whole-person wellness, offering residents a welcoming space focused on physical health, preventative care and active aging, with plans to soon offer this service to seniors in the Bluffton and surrounding communities.
Designed with seniors in mind, the center features modern fitness equipment, wellness programming and opportunities for social engagement in a supportive, faith-centered environment.
“We are excited to open the doors to this new Fitness Center and further our mission of supporting healthy, meaningful living for older adults,” said Kayla Sonnenberg, Program Specialist for Symbria, MHCO’s partner for wellness and therapy services. “This space reflects our dedication to caring for mind, body, and spirit, and to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.”
