Village of Bluffton snow emergency announced on January 25
FROM BLUFFTON OHIO POLICE FACEBOOK, APPROX. 7 P.M. JANUARY 25__With the amount of snow that has fallen, Village of Bluffton snow emergency procedures will be followed.
1.) Please do not park on Main St in the business district so the snow can be safely removed.
2.) If you live in a cul-de-sac, please move vehicles into driveways so plows can access the streets. With vehicles parked on streets, plow drivers cannot get down the streets to effectively clear them.
3.) Street parking throughout town other than cul-de-sacs: If you have a driveway, please move vehicles into driveways so streets can be cleared. If you do not have driveway access, please follow this schedule. On even-numbered calendar days, park on the even-numbered (house number) side of your street. On odd-numbered calendar days, please park on the odd-numbered side of your street. Tomorrow will be January 26, so vehicles should be parked on the even side of the street. [Bluffton Police Dept. will update on Facebook] when this is lifted.
Rumpke will be pushing trash pickup back by one day this week.
Allen County and Hancock County are both under Level 3 roadway advisories [at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 25].
