Bluffton man pleads guilty to child pornography charges
WLIO Hometown Stations has reported that Kris Shoemaker of Bluffton pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges in December. Shoemaker was arrested in Bluffton in May 2025 by the FBI.
He is charged with one count each of distribution of child pornography and receipt of child pornography.
Also pleading guilty is Kayla Miller of Lima to charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution of child pornography.
The arrests were made after a tip to the FBI. Sentencing is scheduled for April 2026.
