Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs announces 2026 Small Business Information Series
MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE), in partnership with the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, is inviting current and aspiring business owners to participate in the 2026 Small Business Information Series, a six-week educational program designed to support local entrepreneurship and economic growth.
The series will take place on Tuesday evenings from March 3 through April 7, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sessions will be held at the Bluffton Middle School Library, located at 116 S. Jackson Street. Participants may also attend remotely through live broadcasts from the Borra Center at Rhodes State College. REGISTER HERE.
The program is open to individuals who are considering starting a business, as well as those who are in their first few years of operation. Through expert-led sessions, participants will gain practical knowledge in key areas of business development, including:
- Entrepreneurship and business planning
- Marketing and social media strategies
- Financial accounting and profitability
- Capital acquisition and risk management
Upon completion of all six sessions, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Graduates will also be eligible to compete in the Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition, which offers more than $5,000 in prizes and provides entry into Regional Pitchfest 2026.
“The Small Business Information Series is designed to give local entrepreneurs the tools and confidence they need to succeed,” said Rene Gabriel, Executive Director of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce and BCE. “By investing in small businesses, we’re strengthening our community and supporting long-term economic growth in Bluffton and the surrounding area.”
The program is offered free of charge, but advance registration is required. Space may be limited.
