Candidate and issue advertising for the May 5, 2026, Primary Election is available on the Bluffton Icon as follows:
LOCAL FOCUS
Ads are available for county, school district, township and village candidates and issues that will appear on Ada precinct ballots.
VALIDATION
Ads are available for candidates and issues that have been validated by the Hardin County Board of Elections. See Candidate Filing Information web page. Issues filed were not available at the time of this posting.
DATES
Ads may be posted in the following 2-week increments:
- March 24-April 7
- April 8-21
- April 22-May 5
AD DESIGN
- Please submit ads as an 8.5" x 11" PDF design.
- Ads need to be legible on large and small screens.
- Ads will link to a pdf copy or an approved web link.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ad design must be approved by the Icon; please allow several days for review.
- The ad must clearly state the purchaser's name.
AD PLACEMENT
- Display ads are seen on blufftonicon.com/display and rotate on the lower left column of the Bluffton Icon home page.
- Candidate and issue ads are also listed on blufftonicon.com/classifieds with up to 75 words of text, which can include email and website links.
- 1 post will be shared on the Ada Icon Facebook page on or about the first day of the 2-week period
COST
- Candidate and issue advertising for the May 2026 primary is $50.00 for two weeks.
- Ads are payable online, in advance.
