Ethan Hoffman honored as BHS January Student of the Month

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton High School is pleased to announce that senior Ethan Hoffman has been selected as the January 2026 Student of the Month. Ethan is the son of Larry and Marcy Hoffman of Bluffton.

Ethan is an exemplary student whose achievements reflect a strong commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. He maintains a 4.0 GPA and serves as Vice President of the National Honor Society. In addition, Ethan has been an active member of the Student Senate for four years, is a student helper in the technology department at Bluffton Middle School, and participates in the LEO Club, demonstrating consistent leadership and dedication to his school and local community.

Ethan has distinguished himself scholastically, earning the academic award in Advanced Mathematics during his junior year. He further advanced his studies by completing Calculus I at Bluffton University, reflecting his strong mathematical aptitude and preparation for future studies.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Ethan is deeply involved in the fine arts at Bluffton High School. He participates in orchestra, choir, show choir, and drama club, contributing his talents to a variety of performance ensembles.

Ethan is also active in athletics and extracurricular activities, participating on the boys’ soccer team, track and field team, and the esports team. His involvement reflects a well-rounded high school experience and a commitment to teamwork and personal development.

Outside of school, Ethan attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bluffton. During the summer, he is employed by Schoolhouse Electronics, where he gains practical experience aligned with his interest in technology. In his free time, Ethan enjoys gaming, building PCs, listening to music, spending time with friends, and studying the Gospel.

Following graduation, Ethan plans to attend the University of Cincinnati, where he intends to major in Computer Engineering.
