Special midweek services for the season of Lent will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00  p.m.  at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.

The Ash Wednesday service on February 18 will be led by Pastor Nicholas Lilienthal of Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Bowling Green.

The sermon is based on Zechariah 11:7-13: What's Jesus Worth to You?  The hymns are "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, Jesus, Priceless Treasure, and All Praise to Thee, My God This Night." Special music will be by Trinity's School Children singing "Passover Lamb."

Beginning at 5:30  p.m. , the students of Grades 6-7 and their parents will serve a free meal of pulled pork and mac and cheese.  Everyone is welcome to attend the meal and the service and the church is handicapped accessible.
