Mark Falk worked for Production Products
Mark Falk, 63, passed away on March 1, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Mark was born January 11, 1963, in Bluffton, to Harold Dean and Carol (Mathewson) Falk. On June 21, 1986, he married Karen (Weyer) Falk who survives.
He was a 1982 graduate of Bluffton High School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He retired from Production Products Inc. in 2024 but worked previously for Cooper Tires and Clymer Enterprises.
Mark was proud to have been a three-time wrestling champion for the state of Ohio, winning championships in 1980, 1981 and 1982. He was instrumental in helping his wrestling team bring home Bluffton High School's first ever state championship title, in 1981. With a career record of 149-12 he was able to make Class A Outstanding Wrestler of the Year his senior year; propelling him to the All-American USA Dream Team. His wrestling career took him to The Ohio State University, where he wrestled for one year. He later coached wrestling for Bluffton High School and Cory-Rawson High School.
Aside from his athletic ability, Mark was an artist. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening, watching football or wrestling, taking his dog Sparkles to the dog park, playing tricks on those he loved and vacationing at the beach with his family. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Falk of Bluffton; his wife, Karen Falk of Bluffton; two children, Joshua (Frankie Hamilton) Falk of Bluffton and Brianna (Clay) Atkins of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Lilliana, Ezra, Brielle, and Caliyah Atkins; three siblings, Mike (Eileen) Falk of Bluffton, Tom (Susan) Falk of Columbus, and Tina Benjamin of Bluffton; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Falk of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Falk and a brother, Tim Falk.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bluffton. Father John Murray to officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton, with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
