March 11 Lent service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
MEDIA RELEASE__Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will hold a special service for Lent on Wednesday evening, March 11, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Pastor Nicholas Lilienthal, from Abiding Word Lutheran church in Bowling Green, will base his sermon, "The Kingly Priest," on Zechariah 6:9-13. Hymns are: "Shepherd of Tender Youth, Jesus, My Great High Priest and Lord, Support Us All Day Long." The Choir will sing "Is this the King?"
The Achey family will serve a free hot dog bar supper beginning at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend the services and the supper.
The church is handicapped accessible. The 8:00 a.m. Sunday service and the Wednesday night service are live-streamed and archived at tlcjenera.org. More information can be found at the website or by calling 419-326-4685.
Trinity invites you to worship at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. Bible Classes for all ages begin at 9:20 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
