Blanchard Valley Health System Recognized as American Heart Association All-Star Training Center
MEDIA RELEASE__Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) as one of its 2025 All-Star Training Centers, a distinction awarded to organizations that demonstrate exceptional performance in delivering CPR and emergency cardiovascular care education.
The recognition highlights training centers that consistently meet or exceed national standards for high-quality CPR training, adherence to Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) guidelines, and strong program performance metrics.
According to the AHA, the All-Star designation recognizes training centers that elevate the standard of lifesaving education in their communities and help strengthen a nationwide network of individuals prepared to respond during cardiac emergencies.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our training team and their commitment to providing high-quality lifesaving education,” said BJ Pasztor, RN, chief operating officer of acute care services & chief nursing officer. “Every person trained in CPR has the potential to save a life, and we are proud to play a role in building a community prepared to respond.”
As part of the recognition, BVHS received an official 2025 All-Star Training Center certificate and badge. The AHA notes that organizations earning the All-Star designation demonstrate excellence in training quality, program compliance, and overall impact in preparing individuals to respond confidently during cardiac emergencies.
