Poinsettia Club to meet on April 21

MEDIA RELEASE__The Poinsettia Club of Bluffton will begin its 106th year on April 21. Organized in 1920, the club's motto is “Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.” The poinsettia is the flower of Mexico and represents friendship or friend.

The club meets at 11:30 a.m.on the third Tuesday of the month from April through November. The group meets in various locations. The April 2026 meeting will be held at Maple Crest in Bluffton.

Members meet for lunch and enjoy catching up with each other, followed by listening to various programs from different speakers, and planning for various philanthropic activities. Last year, donations were made to the Women’s Resource Center, Bluffton Food Pantry, Hope House and the Wyandot County Humane Society.

The officers for 2026 are president Diane Huber; vice president Phyllis Smith; secretary Jeannette Kidd; treasurer Jenny Pilarowski; and assistant secretary/treasurer Ann Welch.
