Melissa Johnston promoted to mortgage originator at First National Bank
MEDIA RELEASE__First National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Johnston to Mortgage Originator. In her new position, Johnston will assist customers with home financing needs, guiding them through the mortgage process and helping them achieve homeownership.
Johnston began her career with First National Bank in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative in Pandora. Over the past several years, she has advanced through multiple roles, including Consumer Lender and Branch Manager, gaining valuable experience and building strong relationships with customers. Her experience and dedication to service have prepared her well for her new role in mortgage lending.

She is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Awakening Minds Art and participating in several local organizations, including Findlay Morning Rotary and Findlay Service League. Through her service work, she supports initiatives such as City Mission, Mazza Museum, 50 North, and Coats for Christmas. She also volunteers weekly at Restore and is a member of Lighthouse Community Church. Outside of work, Johnston is an avid runner and is currently training for her first 50-mile race after completing two ultramarathons last year.
