Miracle League director to speak to Bluffton Lions Club, April 7
MEDIA RELEASE__Katy Erford, the Executive Director of the Miracle League of Findlay, will be speaking at the Bluffton Lions Club meeting on Tuesday, April 7.
Erford has been Executive Director of Miracle League of Findlay since 2018. The organization's mission—“every child deserves to play baseball”—focuses on supporting people with disabilities, educating the public, and fostering greater understanding of the disability community.
Miracle League runs spring and fall seasons annually, with over 100 players from the surrounding communities and numerous volunteers serving as buddies.
This year marks Miracle League of Findlay's 10-year anniversary of being in the community. Erford will discuss the league's mission, programs, accessible facilities and its impact on families.
The meeting will be held at Bluffton Town Hall and open to the public.
