A Bluffton man has been sentenced to five years of community control in the domestic violence case State of Ohio vs. Kyle A. Moser. The Lima News reported on the April 7 sentencing in the Allen County Common Pleas Court of Judge Terri Kohlrieser.

Court documents show Moser was originally charged with abduction (a felony) and domestic violence for attacking his wife in October 2025. The abduction charge was amended to attempted abduction.

In February 2026, Moser pleaded guilty to the negotiated charges. In March, a bench warrant was issued for a release violation and a motion to reinstate bond was denied.

Moser has been ordered to take anger management classes and perform community service. A court order prohibits him from contacting the victim.
