Pirate tennis nips Elida

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys tennis team edged visiting Elida 3-2 on Wednesday evening, April 8.
The Pirates improved to 3-1 with the win, while Elida fell to 1-3 after the defeat.
Bluffton senior Grady Coonfare lost a tough three-setter at first singles 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Senior Isaiah Kohli cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at second singles.
Sophomore Toby Yarnell won easily at third singles by a 6-1, 6-0 count.
Senior Hudson Phillips and junior Braydon McClure teamed up for a comeback win at first doubles 0-6, 7-5, 6-1.
Sophomores Micah Lemley and Ezra Nygaard lost 6-4, 6-1 at second doubles.
The Pirates are slated to play at Van Wert (0-1) on Thursday.
