Two-vehicle fatal crash on I-75 northbound near S.R. 235
MEDIA RELEASE__The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on April 19, 2026, at approximately 2:59 A.M. on Interstate 75 near milepost 145 in Union Township.
A 2026 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Jeanine Marsh, 51 years old of Englewood, Ohio, was northbound on Interstate 75 near milepost 145. A 2021 Dodge Charger driven by 21-year-old Samenda Moreau of Findlay, Ohio, was also driving northbound on Interstate 75 approaching the Silverado. The Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash and struck the 2026 Silverado in the rear. The Chevrolet Silverado was pushed off the right side of the roadway and overturned before coming to rest. The Dodge Charger came to rest on the right shoulder of the interstate on the northbound side.
49-year-old Rondel Marsh of Englewood, Ohio, was the right front passenger in the Chevrolet Silverado, and he sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. 19-year-old Ryan Marsh of Englewood, Ohio, was the rear passenger in the Silverado, and he was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Jeanine Marsh was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Besly Sidelca, 31 years old, of Findlay, Ohio, was the right front passenger in the Dodge Charger. Mr. Sidelca was treated at the scene with minor injuries and was released. Samenda Moreau received minor injuries and was treated at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash, and the crash remains under investigation, with the possibility that more charges will be filed at a later date. All the occupants in the Chevrolet Silverado were wearing their seatbelts. It is unknown at this time if seatbelts were used by the driver and passenger of the Dodge Charger.
Assisting on scene were: Southwestern Hancock County Joint Fire, HANCO EMS, Ohio Department of Public Safety, and R and A Towing.
