Bluffton voters pass BPL tax levy and elect central committee members

BLUFFTON PUBLIC LIBRARY TAX LEVY
Bluffton voters approved the Tax Levy (Additional) for Bluffton Public Library, with 745 voting yes and 361 voting no.

Proposed Tax Levy (Additional) Bluffton Public Library A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage An additional tax for the benefit of Bluffton Public Library for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $257,404 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $35 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
