Pandora Library announces 2026 Summer Reading Challenges
MEDIA RELEASE_The Pandora-Riley branch of the Putnam County District Library, 304 Hilty Dr., has announced 2026 summer reading challenges.
Participants are asked to log books read to earn badges. One ticket will be earned per badge, and participants can use tickets to enter a drawing for prizes. The drawing will be held the first week of each month. Prize categories include: birth to 11 years old, 12 to 18 years old, and adults 18 and over.
The library is also offering Summer Creative Passports. Participants will complete a passport for a chance to win a grand prize getaway to Sauder Village Heritage Inn.
To enter, complete the “250 Unearth a Story Challenge” by reading the history of each library’s location to find a highlighted word. Participants are then to add it to a word bank before unscrambling a puzzle to collect a location sticker.
Then, a “Hole-In-One Challenge” must be completed. Participants will receive one attempt per visit to try to sink a hole-in-one. If you miss the putt, visit another location to collect another sticker to keep aiming for that hole-in-one.
Find more information on both challenges here.
