July 11 Ride to Remember will start at Bluffton University's Sommer Center
FROM FACEBOOK__The 12th annual Bluffton Ride to Remember, a Bluffton Lions Club fundraising and awareness campaign to benefit the Bluffton bike and pedestrian pathways, has a new starting point: The Sommer Center at Bluffton University.
Riders will park and check in at the Sommer Center on Rosenberger Drive, Bluffton (north campus entrance from Elm St.).
The in-person ride takes cyclists through the Village of Bluffton, Ohio, and the scenic surrounding countryside, with routes passing through Gilboa, Pandora, Ottawa, Rawson, and other nearby towns.
There is also a flexible option to ride on your own time at any location while donating to the pathways.
The first 250 registered riders to check in will receive a reusable sack filled with goodies from local businesses, along with a lunch coupon. Commemorative T-shirts will also be available for purchase during registration.
Tips for the July 11 event:
1. Register online. Register ahead of time for best pricing but registration may be done with your smart phone on the day of the event, but you may experience a delay.
