Dr. Rob Alexander, the Wilfred Binkley endowed professor of political science and director of the Institute for Civics and Public Policy at Ohio Northern University, will present the Forum “The Ever-Controversial Electoral College,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Yoder Recital Hall.
In this Forum, Alexander examines how the Electoral College has changed over the years and what we might expect for its future given the constitutional crisis created in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Jan and Paula (Brodman) Kibele of Bluffton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 9, 2022.
They were married on September 9, 1972 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bluffton, Ohio.
The couple has four children: Dawn (Michael) Ballinger, Leif (Maria) Kibele, Holly (Doug) George and Chelsea (Jimmy Hovest) Kibele; and 10 grandchildren: Tecumseh, Sumner, Maddox, Colt, Elliot, Gavin, Trey, Tanner, Truett and Thea
Jan is retired from the Ford-Lima Engine Plant and Paula is retired from Bluffton Hospital.
September 15 will be the one-year anniversary for the Blended Roots shop at 246 Cherry St. Manager Katelyn Gainok shares, "We would like to thank all of our vendors, customers and Bluffton for helping make all our dreams come true."
The store will hold Customer Appreciation days on September 15, 16 and 17. There will be in-store raffles each day and the whole store will be 10% off on those days.

The Bluffton Cattle 4-H Club wrapped up their 2022 season exhibiting a wide variety of projects at the Allen County Fair. The club members worked hard throughout the summer and their efforts were recognized as they won many banners and ribbons throughout the week. Congratulations to all of the participants on a job well done.
