Library program explores indigenous agriculture and heirloom seeds
FROM BPL UPDATE — Three Sisters Garden & Ancient American Seeds (R) will be held Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. This program features a short presentation on the indigenous Three Sisters Garden method, as well as info about three of the oldest corn, bean, and squash seed varieties found in America. Participants will go home with a collection of the featured seeds to grow this summer! Seeds donated by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds (rareseeds.com). Open to adults, and teens and children with an accompanying adult. Register in person or online.
