While the exhibition serves as a retrospective of his artistry during his three decades at ONU, it omits what Chesser considers his true masterpiece: his students.

BLUFFTON __The Bluffton High School girls soccer team ran out to an early lead and defeated visiting local rival Allen East 4-1 in a Northwest Conference match on Thursday night, Sept. 24, at Steinmetz Field.
The Pirate girls improved to 5-5 overall and 4-0 in the NWC with the decisive win. Bluffton is tied with Columbus Grove at 4-0 in the league standings.
AE fell to 0-10-2 and 0-3-1 in NWC play after the loss.
Janine Elizabeth (Minnich) Millager, a longtime resident of Bluffton and then of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on May 5, 1939, to Marion (Tam) and Helen Minnich in Continental, Ohio. She met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Millager, at Methodist church camp when they were both 14 years old, and they married on October 30, 1960. They were one month shy of celebrating their 66th anniversary at the time of her passing.
