DATE CORRECTED The 2026 Chocolate Walk, coordinated by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, will give participants the opportunity to visit over 20 businesses and collect chocolate treats at each stop! Tickets will be on sale at Black Lab Trading Company, Polished/Boutique415, Roots by Strattons and Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Company. Only 150 tickets will be sold.

VAN WERT__The visiting Bluffton High School boys basketball team was hit with an early barrage of triples and lost to Northwest Conference leader Lincolnview 80-66 on Friday, January 23.

The balanced Lancers placed four players in double-figure scoring.

First-place Lincolnview bombed in five first-period treys to build a 28-15 lead they never relinquished.

The Findlay Courier has reported that Gabriel Gratz of Ada was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 7:55 a.m. on Thursday, January 22.

Gratz was driving north on State Route 235 near Township Rd. 27 when he entered the southbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Nicole Neely of Waterville.

Gratz was pronounced dead at the scene and Neely was transported to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

Details were provided by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.
