Rachel Young, age 48, from Lima, was operating a 2013 Mack Dump Truck traveling west on US-30, loaded with rocks. The truck sustained heavy damage. The cleanup and tow are being handled by Big Daddy’s Towing.
Napoleon Road suffered heavy damage to the pavement and will be temporarily closed throughout the US-30 underpass until repairs can be made. US-30 was not affected.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Ohio Department of Transportation, Allen County Engineers Office, Allen County EMA, Beaverdam-Richland Fire and EMS and Big Daddy’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
