Bluffton University streamlines MBA program for working professionals

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University has redesigned its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to make earning an advanced degree faster, more flexible and more accessible for today's working professionals.

Beginning this fall, students can complete Bluffton's MBA in as little as 10 months through a streamlined 30-credit-hour curriculum. Evening classes now meet from 6:30-9 p.m., reducing class time while maintaining the same rigorous, career-focused education. Students will also benefit from a simplified course schedule of two, eight-week courses each term, allowing them to focus on fewer classes at a time while balancing work, family and personal commitments.

The updated format reflects Bluffton's commitment to providing graduate education that fits the realities of today's professionals without sacrificing quality or academic excellence.

“An MBA should accelerate a person's career, not put it on hold," said Brienne Sprunger, director of Bluffton University's MBA program. “Students can join from anywhere in the world, but they never have to earn their degree alone. They build meaningful relationships with classmates and faculty that provide encouragement, accountability, and a professional network that extends well beyond graduation."

Designed for graduates from any undergraduate major, Bluffton's MBA equips students with practical leadership, communication, strategic thinking and decision-making skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace. The program is intentionally structured to help professionals continue working while earning a degree that prepares them for leadership roles across industries.

"Professionals today are looking for educational opportunities that respect their time while helping them reach their career goals," said Claire Kleman, vice president of enrollment and communication. "Our updated MBA program offers exactly that—a flexible, high-value graduate degree that empowers students to advance their careers, expand their leadership potential and make a meaningful investment in their future."

Applications are now being accepted for upcoming cohorts.
