James "Jim" Lee Edinger worked as a millwright
James "Jim" Lee Edinger, 91, passed away July 13, 2026, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Jim was born on January 29, 1935, in Ohio, to the late Robert and Kathleen (Steele) Edinger. On March 24, 1956, he married D. Marie (Wilson) Edinger, who preceded him in death on December 10, 2003.
Jim worked as a millwright at Phillips Display Components in Ottawa and enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include two children, James A. (Ivanka) Edinger of Bowling Green, Ohio and Louann (Greg) Weitz of Findlay; four grandchildren, Steven (Angie) Ford, Nick (Jennifer Broadwater) Ford, Devin (Valerie) Edinger, Darcy Edinger; one great-grandson, Luke Ford; and two brothers, Jerry (Jill) Edinger and Richard (Susan) Edinger.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Edinger; his stepmother, Helen Edinger; a granddaughter, Angela Ford; and a brother, Ron Edinger.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jim may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (a charity that Jim was very supportive of and fond of).
