Scoles joins AEDG as Planning and Site Development Manager
AEDG NEWSLETTER__Allen Economic Development Group (AEDG) welcomed Jeremy Scoles as its new Planning and Site Development Manager. In this role, Jeremy supports site readiness, infrastructure planning, and redevelopment initiatives across Allen County, helping position the community for continued economic growth and investment.

“I am excited to join the AEDG team and contribute to the important work of strengthening Allen County’s economic future,” said Jeremy. “I look forward to collaborating with community partners to advance projects that support businesses, create opportunities, and improve quality of life throughout the region.”
Jeremy brings more than two decades of public sector experience to AEDG. Before joining the organization in 2026, he served in several roles with the State of Ohio, including the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in compliance assistance and regulatory processes, enabling him to help businesses and communities navigate complex site development and environmental considerations.
Beyond his professional work, Jeremy is actively engaged in local education and workforce initiatives. He serves on [the Bluffton] school board and on the board of the Apollo Career Center, underscoring his commitment to developing talent and supporting the community’s long-term success.

As Planning and Site Development Manager, Jeremy works closely with local governments, utility providers, developers, property owners, realtors, and business leaders to advance projects that enhance site readiness, improve infrastructure, and create opportunities for business expansion and job creation.
AEDG continues to focus on fostering economic growth by attracting new investment, supporting existing businesses, advancing workforce initiatives, and preparing sites for future development. Jeremy’s role further strengthens the organization’s ability to help communities and businesses succeed.
