BLUFFTON __The Bluffton High School girls golf team defeated visiting Bath in a dual match on the Bluffton Golf Club course Wednesday, August 5.

The Pirate girls, coached by Richard Streicher, defeated the Wildcats by 11 strokes, 220-231.

Bluffton’s Katie Bauman earned match medalist status with a nine-hole round of 48. Pirate Ally Stechschulte finished second after carding a 49. 

Aubrey Gerten shot a 50 to pace Bath and come in third overall.

The Pirate girls are slated to be back in action with the Allen East Invitational at Colonial Hills Golf Club in Harrod on Monday, August 10.
