Pirate volleyball sweeps Rockets

PANDORA __The visiting Bluffton High School volleyball team swept local rival Pandora-Gilboa in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 25.
Bluffton improved to 2-2 with the 25-10, 25-16, 25-22 road win.
P-G fell to 1-1 after the three-set home loss.
Camryn Fruchey and Taylin Goldman each drilled 11 kills to lead the Pirate attack. Versatile Karlie Lora knocked down 10 kills, mustered 10 digs and came up with two blocks.
Camryn Fruchey dished out 15 assists and served up two aces.
Gracie Warren and Ari Goings each came up with 10 digs. Adrian Birnesser dealt a pair of aces.
The Bluffton junior varsity also won in straight sets, 2-0.
The Pirates play at Miller City (2-0) with Defiance Tinora (2-1) in a tough tri-match Saturday morning.
