Pirate boys soccer win vs. Kenton
BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys soccer team swamped visiting WBL foe Kenton 5-1 in a non-league match Thursday, Sept. 17 on a wet Steinmetz Field.
The Pirates improved to 5-3-2 with the home victory. The Wildcats fell to 2-6-1 after the defeat.
Chase Kelly led the offense with two goals to pace the victors.
Micah Lemley found the back of the net with an assist from Kyson Kleman. Pirates Jeht Kruse and Weston Johnstone tallied one goal apiece.
Kyle Barrett netted the lone Kenton goal.
Bluffton keeper Ryan Blount tallied seven saves.
The Pirates play at Liberty Center on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
