CONVOY__The visiting Bluffton High School volleyball team lost in three sets to Northwest Conference foe Crestview to snap their seven-match win streak on Thursday, Sept. 24.

The Pirate girls dropped to 10-5 overall and 3-1 in NWC play after suffering their first league loss by a 25-20, 25-23, 25-20 count.

The Knight girls improved to 5-5 overall and ascended to first place in the NWC at 3-0 with the home sweep win.

Karlie Lora topped the Pirates with 12 kills and four blocks. Taylin Goldman knocked down six kills.

Adelyn Althaus passed out 10 assists and served one ace. Adrian Birnesser dished out nine helpers.

Gracie Warren mustered up 12 digs, made two blocks and dealt one ace. Ari Goings hustled her way to 10 digs.

Crestview also won the JV match, 2-0.

Bluffton hosts WBL foe Wapakoneta (9-5) Monday, Sept. 28 and visits league rival Lincolnview (9-4, 2-1 NWC) Tuesday, Sept. 29.
