Obituary for Donald Dean Donovan, 73
Donald Dean Donovan, 73, passed away in the early morning of October 4, 2026 in his sleep at a nursing facility in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was born June 1, 1953, in Iola, Kansas, to Curtis Almer and Elaine Donovan, who predeceased him.
He leaves 4 children; Angie (Brandon) Clark of Osawatomie Kansas, Livie (Ben) Weber of Barnsdall Oklahoma, Michael (Candy) Sweet and Terry Donovan of Cameron Missouri, 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren with more on the way.
His special companion and friend of 18 years, Susan L. King, resides in Bluffton, Ohio. He was cremated. There was no service. May he rest in peace.
Memorials may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or the Putnam County Dog Shelter.
