At the time of this announcement, Allen County was downgraded from High to Substantial COVID transmission level.

Due to the decline of COVID-19 cases within the community, Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) will be making changes to current COVID-19 testing sites and testing requirements.

BVHS will no longer require COVID-19 testing prior to having a surgery or procedure completed at the Findlay campus, Bluffton campus and the Findlay Surgery Center.

Shari Schwab, AVP, Credit Analyst at First National Bank (Pandora) is retiring effective February 25, 2022. Schwab was hired by First National Bank in 1981. 

Shari began her career as a Customer Service Representative, then worked in deposit operations. In 2005, Shari began working in accounting, where she was promoted to AVP.  She then graduated from The Bank Leadership Institute. Shari has worked as a Credit Analyst at First National Bank since 2016.  

Shari and her husband, Tony, reside in Pandora and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

The Bluffton University women's basketball team battled to the end, but #6 seed Anderson University won the rubber match 68-63 in the HCAC semi-final in Lexington, KY, on February 25.

Anderson advanced to the Heartland Conference finals where they were defeated by #2-ranked tournament host Transylvania on February 26. Bluffton saw its exceptional season come to a close with a 19-7 mark.

Especially after dark, the entrance to Bluffton Elementary School is hard to miss. On Monday, February 28, that's where you'll find the Board of Education meeting.
