Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) celebrate National Volunteers Week (April 6-12) early as volunteers and staff gathered at Ebenezer Mennonite Church on March 31.
Over 135 volunteers serving Mennonite Memorial Home, Maple Crest Senior Living Village, Willow Ridge and Hilty Home enjoyed a meal, fellowship and entertainment.
This annual event is an opportunity to say “thank you” to the hundreds of volunteers who provide exceptional service to the elders living at all four MHCO communities. In 2013, over 350 volunteers contributed over 7,000 hours of service.

Cory-Rawson Music Boosters will hold a bakery Bingo night from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 26, in the C-R High School Bob Abbey gym.
Chris Leuthold and Gary Holland are the guest Bingo callers.
The event includes Bingo, concessions, and lots of baked goods and prizes. There is a 50/50 raffle and a 2014-15 family sports pass raffle. Tickets are $ each of six for $5.
Prizes are given between 7 and 8 p.m. You must be present to win.
The Bluffton University baseball team saw its 4-1 lead slip away in the top of the eighth, but a pair of tallies in the home half sent the Beavers to a 6-4 victory over Earlham College on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Bluffton improved to 11-12 overall and 4-7 in the Heartland Conference, while the Quakers fell to 11-12 and 3-8 in the HCAC.
