Main Street Bluffton's newest business, Sielschott, Walsh, Keifer & Regula CPAs, Inc., will hold a grand opening and open house from 8 to 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 1. The public is invited.

A Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting will take place at 9:30 a.m.

The Lima-based CPA firm is located in the former Little Red Barn, 113 N. Main St. The Little Red Barn flower shop has relocated.

Bluffton council changed the date of its second December meeting. The meeting was originally set for Dec. 26.

The new council meeting dates for December follow:

o Monday, Dec. 12, 8 p.m.
o Monday, Dec. 19, 8 p.m.

Council meets in the third floor of the town hall.

The Bluffton Relay for Life newsletter is now available for Icon viewers. The 2012 relay is June 22-23 at Bluffton University's Saltzman's Stadium.

According to relay planners, the Bluffton cross country team and track teams are the first team for next year's relay.

The 2012 event goal is $30,000.

According to Adam Blevins of the American Cancer Society, "As we sprint into another Relay season, we're looking for ideas and suggestions for our 2011 Relay theme. If you have one and would like to share - please let us know."

First place window

The Black Lab, 121 N. Main St., is the first place winner of this year's downtown retail window decorating contest. The store receives a traveling trophy as a prize.
