A Bluffton Entrepreneurial Network (WEN) luncheon is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Jeanne's Kitchen on Vine Street.

WEN, a member of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, is open to women and men. The luncheon is an opportunity for businesses to promote what they do.

The luncheon is $8 per person and is open to the public.

Bluffton will be abuzz with garage sale activity the weekend of May 19, 20, and 21, when the Friends of the Bluffton Public Library are hosting the third annual Community Garage Sale.

Ten Thousand Villages, South Main Street, invites Icon viewers to visit its shop during the Saturday, May 21, arts and crafts festival, says Aphaphanh Nussbaum, store manager.

"Come visit our store during the arts and crafts festival to savor flavors of the Caribbean," she said. "Come sample our coffee and new chocolates, from 10 a.m. until the supplies last. Twenty percent of our sales on Saturday will be donated to the work of Mission Possible in Haiti."

Four Bluffton University alums, better known as Bluffton Biking Beavers, conquered the 50th annual Tour of Scioto River Valley (TOSRV) earlier this month.

The four bikers are Everett Collier, Mitch Kingley, Wendell Miller all of Bluffton, and Gary Habeger, Bluffton University alum, from Berne, Ind.

This year's 210-mile round-trip tour from Columbus to Portsmouth commemorated the 50th year since 1962 when a father and son decided to make the trip.
