There she blows

The clean-up phase of this week's snowfall is in process. Here workers remove snow from the St. Mary's Catholic Church parking lot.

"At Work," an art department faculty exhibition at Bluffton University, opens Sunday, Feb. 6, in the Sauder Visual Arts Center's Grace Albrecht Gallery.

A reception, free and open to the public, is scheduled with the artists from 3-5 p.m. On display through March 4 will be drawings, prints, paintings, digital art, photographs, ceramics, glass, sculpture and other art created by Bluffton art faculty members.

The Icon spotted this Fraternal Order of Police plate in the Founders Hall parking lot.

Bluffton schools are on a two-hour delay for Friday, Feb. 4, according to Greg Denecker, superintendent. The snow and ice storms of this week have played havoc with the public school schedules.

In for a landing

Jeff Laing was in the right spot at the right time to photograph this helicopter land at Tower Automotive this morning.

The Bluffton High School girls' basketball game with Crestview set for Feb. 3 has been rescheduled. The new date is Saturday, Feb. 5, with a junior varsity starting time of 11 a.m.
