This summer has looked a lot different than other summers at Bluffton Public Library.
However, COVID-19 hasn’t ended the library’s commitment to programs and events that support education, access to resources, community, and entertainment.
The library staff partnered with many local Summer Program sponsors to provide these events digitally.
Bluffton Public Library’s Summer Program, “Imagine Your Story,” ends Aug. 15.
During this time, the digital Summer Reading Challenge continues on the library’s Beanstack webpage (with paper forms available for those unable to access the digital version).
To be included in the end-of-summer-program prize drawings, be sure to drop your virtual Beanstack tickets into your preferred prize boxes by Aug. 15.
Paper forms must be marked with preferred prize choice(s) and dropped off in the book drop by Aug. 15.

If you missed the Bluffton Public Library Zoom talk on "What's at the bottom of the Buckeye," you may now watch it on The Icon.
The presentation by Fred Steiner includes descriptions of Bluffton swimming pools over the past century.
The talk also touches on a Bluffton railroad excursion to Cedar Point in the 1920s. Big Rock, sulfur springs, Cigarette Creek are also part of the talk, as is the oldest known structure along the creek which redates Bluffton.
