DANVILLE, Ky. - The Bluffton University men's soccer team was within a goal early in period two before three Georgetown scores gave the Tigers a 5-1 victory on Sunday, Sept. 3. Bluffton comes back to Ohio with a 0-2 mark, while Georgetown improved to 1-2 on the season.

The Bluffton University football team opened up the 2017 campaign on the road against the College of Wooster. This was only the second time that these schools faced each other with the Fighting Scots taking the first game back in 1931 by a 12-0 margin. Wooster took advantage of the red zone and Beaver turnovers as they marched to a 45-21 win over Bluffton.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 less than 15 minutes into the season opener on the way to a 3-0 shutout at the hands of Ohio Christian on a cool Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.

Junior Skylar Liming (St. Marys/Memorial) ripped a team-best four shots while freshman Sienna Sullivan (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) turned away 12 attempts by the visitors.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Beavers wrapped up day one of the Bluffton Sommer Spiketacular with a 1-1 mark. The Bluffton volleyball team picked up an impressive win over Adrian College in three sets (27-25, 25-20, 25-20). Junior Bethany Martini (Pickerington/North) led the team with 16 kills and she also chipped in 11 digs.

Bestselling author shares thoughts on integrity with Bluffton students

Sometimes it’s the little things we do in life that have the most impact.

“New York Times” bestselling author, Nathan Whitaker, shared this message with Bluffton’s new students during Opening Convocation on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

“I think it’s easy for us to devalue what we do or say. That what we do isn’t going to impact anybody,” explained Whitaker, co-author of “Quiet Strength” the memoir of Super-Bowl winning coach Tony Dungy.

Collaborative MBA students on university campus

Ten students, traveling from as far away as Cambodia, came together on the campus of Bluffton University Aug. 6-11 for the fourth Collaborative MBA residency. While the students began as strangers from vastly different backgrounds, they left with newfound ideas on leadership and lasting bonds.
 
“The most exciting part has been connecting with others who have had a lot of different experiences to discuss the things that we all care about from our own unique perspectives,” said Annalisa Brenneman, an exchange coordinator for Mennonite Central Committee in Cambodia.
