All the fun this fall is on Road R, Pandora

Lots of photos and a video below -
What will they think of next, out there on Road R (aside from apple cider, apples and pumpkins)?

First, there was a corn maze – maybe they invented the entire concept. Next came all sorts of activities for kids – like playing in a “corn” sandbox. Soon after that came the cannon where you shoot corn at targets.

There’s more, but I can’t name everything. Oh, I forgot the kettle corn-popping machine and if you watch the video with this story you’ll figure it out.

Bluffton’s newest health provider brings a physician and family nurse practitioner to the community. Both are accepting new patients. The provider, Mercy Health-Bluffton Family Medicine, at 204 N. Main St., opened on Sept. 11.

The two new health providers are Dr. Anna Kauffman, MD, of Bluffton, and Abbie Nartker, FNP, of Kalida.

Started in Bluffton in 1922

The Page Dairy was located on Harmon Road near the former water plant. In 1957  a plant in Findlay here also. (In 2017 this is near Steinmetz Field.)

Mercy Health – Bluffton Family Medicine invites the community to its 204 N. Main St., open house on Friday, Oct. 6. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event features a Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at noon.

Tours of the facility take place from 12:15 to 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.

 

Citizens National Bank, 102 S. Main St., celebrates its customer appreciation day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29.

Free shredded pork or bratwurst sandwiches, chips and cookies will be served. Attendees may enter to win a variety of door prizes.

 “We’ve been part of the Bluffton community for a long time and this is a great way to show our appreciation for their loyalty and confidence in us through the years,” says Steve Ritter, Bluffton City Executive.

Dunkirk facility has fall class signups underway

Baylifft Gym and Box, 23535 Township Road 68, Dunkirk, hosts an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23.

The open house includes give-aways, drawings, door prizes and other special activities. Drawings are hourly throughout the day. See the display ad at the bottom of this story.
