The Bluffton Farmers Market has just five more weeks in the 2021 season. Market Manager Greg Probst notes that vendors will have "Lots of baked goods including gluten-free, maple products, jams, honey, pumpkins and fall flowers. We're still going strong until the end of October."

The market is hosted by Citizens National Bank in its parking lot at 102 S. Main next to the post office. The market is open on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The last market of the season will be October 30.

Village residents and Bluffton-area community members are invited to join a Biking Beavers evening bicycle ride hosted by Bluffton University faculty at 6 p.m. on October 1.

The tour will begin outside of the Sommer Center and conclude at Bluffton University Nature Preserve with a sweet treat. Please bring your own bicycle and safety gear.

Mayor Richard Johnson has scheduled trick or treating in the Village of Bluffton for 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 28.

The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm, Pandora, is holding the 6th Annual Quarry Farm 5K Run/Walk event on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. The race will be held rain or shine.

Pre-registration is available online at www.thequarryfarm.org under "Events." Registration on the day of the event begins at 8:30 a.m.  Check-in for preregistered participants is from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Bluffton Cars & Coffee for September 25, 2021 has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

The next gathering of car and motorcycle enthusiasts will be on October 23 at 902 N. Main St.
 

The Red Cross will take blood donations on Wednesday, September 29 at Bluffton High School, 106 W. College Ave.
