The Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8375 Phillips Road, Bluffton, will hold a fish fry in March. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 8, at the church.
Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for youth 11 and under. The fish fry offers all the fish you can eat, plus potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce presents "Driving Miss Daisy," at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at The Centre. The performance, by the Van Wert Civic Theatre, is a fundraiser for the chamber.
Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Greg's Pharmacy, Village Cut 'n' Curl and at the door on March 9. Tickets will also be available at the chamber breakfast on March 8.
There are no reserved seats. The doors open at 7 p.m.
The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library will host their fifth annual Spring Tea at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, in the library’s Richland Room. A light meal of homemade foods that are traditionally offered at formal teas will be served prior to a program by Don Bruns.
A former comedian, songster, and entertainer turned novelist, Bruns will bring his wit, guitar, and writer’s stories to the library. His eleventh novel, Hot Stuff, was released in December.
Bluffton's Relay for Life will hold a "quarter auction," at the Blufffton Middle School cafetorium on Friday, March 15, according to Lynda Best. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m.
