Little Pirates (boys in grades 3-6) will begin Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9-10 a.m. in the Bluffton High School gym.
This is a time for skills and drills to be taught and fun competition for any boy basketball player. High school coaches and players will lead Little Pirates. This weekly activity will take place every Saturday morning through the basketball season.

Three floats were winners in the parade.
First - Trinity Lutheran Church and School
Second - Citizens National Bank
Third - Bluffton Hospital
According to Junior Weihrauch, parade director, between 70 and 80 units made up the parade, which is one of the largest in Blaze history.

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "The Muppets" (PG) is showing at the theatre from November 23 - December 1.

Each evening at 7 and 9:30 PM with Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4 PM. The theatre will be open Thanksgiving evening for normal showtimes, but will not have matinees on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Parents of the Bluffton High School junior class (class of 2013) will have a booth in front of the Bluffton News at the Bluffton Blaze of Lights from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Proceeds will go towards the 2012 BHS post prom event. "Without the generous donations from the local community a fun and safe evening after the prom would not be possible," according to committee members.
The post prom committee will sell nachos with cheese or with cheese and meat, hot chocolate, bottled water and individual servings of cookies and brownies.
