The Bluffton Athletic Boosters just completed their 17th year of the annual Reverse Raffle.

We would like to thank the community for all the support given to this event. Many individuals and businesses helped through donations and volunteering their time to make the evening a success.

We look forward to seeing everyone at next year's raffle. Your continued support of our student-athletes is greatly appreciated.

Bluffton University would like to announce and invite the community to the 2016 Riley Creek Festival!

This year's festival will be held this Saturday, April 16,  in the Sommer Center on Bluffton University's campus.

The festival will take place from 11am-4pm, concluding with the famous duck race at 4pm on Little Riley Creek.  Music, games, and inflatables guarantee a good time for all ages in the community.

We sincerely hope you'll join us!

On behalf of the Bluffton Schools' Board of Education and the levy committee, I would like to thank you for your support of our renewal on Tuesday, March 15.  We will continue to spend these permanent improvement dollars wisely and will continue to make public where this money is spent each year.  We are very proud of our school and the community that supports it.  Thank you, again, for all you do for our district!

Sincerely,
Greg Denecker
Superintendent, Bluffton Schools

Want to send out a big thank you to all the volunteers, residents, Mennonite Home, McDonald's and Community Markets for the very organized and well ran Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 19.

I took my three year-old grandson Garrett and this was his first-ever Easter egg hunt as well.

He was so excited to have his number drawn in the basket give away and the number of eggs he was able to get.

Kudos to all those who took part in making this a wonderful and safe event for children!

Bluffton’s Boy Scout Troop 256 is participating in a community-wide service project called Scouting For Food.

In fact, it’s the Scout’s biggest service project of the year. On Saturday, March 5, we’re going to go door-to-door in Bluffton to put a yellow grocery bag on everybody’s doorstep or porch. During the week, your bags can be filled with canned goods and such.

On March 12, put the filled bag back on your doorstep or porch. The Scouts will pick them up and take the donated items to the Bluffton Food Pantry.
